SMART Goal

I will get healthy tomatoes from 6 plants by growing them on the rooftop to start my first business till 14th April, 2021.

Project goal: For starting my own first business. I am growing tomatoes on the rooftop to sell them in the market and earn money.

Why I have this Goal:

Because I want to be a successful entrepreneur so I just started it from roof top gardening.

Three tasks have to performed

Watering to tomato plants

Bind bamboo sticks with stems so they don't fall after bearing fruit or by heavy winds

Ready to market harvesting tomatoes.

First task:

I will water my plants today early in the morning.

Second task:

Bind tomato plants with bamboo sticks after two days when they the size of tomatoes become enlarge and shoot will not able to bear the fruit weight and prone to fall, to avoid this risk bamboo sticks will attach after two days.

Third task

I will harvest fruits almost after 10 days and sell them in the market.

Challenges:

A roof top gardening is itself a challenging task.

Manage water availability

Take measures to avoid any harm to roof construction material.

Proper take care of plants.

Protect plants from intense sunlight and heavy winds.

Experiences

During the week: I have experienced seeing Black fly insects attack on plants.

This time: Plants are bending due to heavy fruits

I have learned plants need protection and some support to stand straight otherwise they can't bear the weight of their fruits.

Next Steps

Watering to my plants

Attach bamboo sticks to give them support.

Research valuable markets for selling tomatoes.
